ComingSoon.net via French radio Europe 1 reports that Luc Besson is planning his return to sci-fi as a director. Inspired by the performance capture technology used on AVATAR, Besson is in the pre-production stage of a secret sci-fi tale. He hopes to start filming in 2012 and 2013 with the film hitting theaters in late 2013 or 2014.
