Adobe Announces LiveMotion And GoLive

Adobe Systems unveiled the latest versions of its GoLive Web authoring and LiveMotion animation software during the Macworld Expo in San Francisco on Monday, January 7, 2002. The products represent Adobe's foray into software for authoring wireless content just as momentum builds for creating content that can be viewed on cell phones and other handheld devices. Adobe is positioning GoLive as the product of choice for Web designers looking to create dynamic content for mobile devices. LiveMotion 2.0, the latest version of the company's professional Web graphics and Flash animation tool, gives Web designers and developers a fast and efficient way to create interactive content and animation for the Web. LiveMotion 2.0 integrates readily with Adobe's family of professional Web design and media tools, including GoLive, Adobe Photoshop and After Effects. Both Web products will be available in the first quarter of 2002 for Windows 2000 and XP or Mac OS 9 and OS X 10.1. GoLive 6.0 and LiveMotion 2.0 will sell for a suggested retail price of US$399 each or US$449 as a bundle. LiveMotion 2.0 will be available for a limited time at a promotional price of US$199.
