Watch: ‘The Day the Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie’ Official Trailer

What could possibly go wrong for Porky and Daffy in the new sci-fi buddy action comedy, the shorts series franchise’s first fully animated feature, when the pair uncover a secret alien mind control plot; hits theaters on March 14.

Faced with a perilous mission to save the earth, Porky Pig and Daffy Duck eschew confidence… “How could we possibly screw this up?” How could they not? Because as we have known for decades, play, schmlan…

From Ketchup Entertainment, Warner Bros. Animation, and director Pete Browngardt, The Day the Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie is set to hit theaters on Marcy 14. The first fully animated feature of the franchise, set in the same world and style as the Looney Tunes Cartoons HBO Max shorts, was previously expected to debut on HBO Max and Cartoon Network.

In the brand-new 2D animated sci-fi buddy action comedy, Porky Pig and Daffy Duck turn into unlikely heroes when their antics at the local bubble gum factory uncover a secret alien mind control plot. Against all odds, the two are determined to save their town (and the world!)... that is if they don't drive each other crazy in the process.

Eric Bauza (Looney Tunes Cartoons) voices Porky and Daffy alongside Candi Milo (Tiny Toons Looniversity) as Petunia Pig and Peter MacNicol (Numb3rs) as the alien Invader. Wayne Knight, and Laraine Newman also star. Browngardt executive produces for Warner Bros. Animation, while Alex Kirwan (Looney Tunes Cartoons) acts as supervising producer. Nick Cross serves as art director, while Aaron Spurgeon serves as the production designer.
