Hypnotic Spiral is an animated short-film about the grief experienced due to war. The film starts with a peaceful scene in the forest, Milo, the elder brother reading a book against a tree while Miles, the younger brother sleeps beside him in the sunlight. Miles lost Milo to war at a young age, and when he becomes a teenager, he is also forced to join the war. There, he meets another boy his age, Troy, who tells him that he joined the war to protect his younger brother. They become fast friends, but soon after the war starts, Troy gets gravely injured and passes away, telling Miles to take care of his younger brother for him in his last breaths. The film ends in the same scene it had started with, a peaceful scenery in the forest, now with Miles reading a book, and Roy (Troy’s younger brother), sleeping beside him in the sunlight. I finally finished it! After a long time, I have my first finished animated short film. And I'm really proud of this one, hope everyone enjoys it!
