I've been animating for about 20 years and recently got into game development and learned programming, so this is my first game release to be coming up in October/November.
I'm posting this because I think in the realm of 2D games, it's quite unique. Not that animation like this has never been seen, but in video games it really hasn't since Cuphead, and I think making 2D games like this can open a new window of opportunity for animators to use their skills in an alternate industry.
