Hello, my name is Patrick Blanchette. I just joined the site and I looking forward to chatting animation with you all.
I'm 26 years old, I've gratuated from University last year. I worked as an animator on the Tangled Tv series for a year and I now work as a Clean up storyboard artist on F is for family.
In my free time, I am developping a projet I want to start pitching during the summer. It's a 2D animated TV show aimed
at 10-12 years old. It tells the story of the overambitious, devil with a heart of gold 11 years old apprentice of the Sandman, growing up in a world where dreams have become an industry and discovering that running the Dreamworld is a nightmare.

This is the main character above, Dawn, to summarize her character :
- She always wants to help people in need and doesn’t have a cynical bone in her body.
- Except : She is extremely good at reading people which makes her talented at manipulation. She is a rule breaker driven by a need to be the best and a crippling fear of ridicule. The word for her is '‘inconsiderate’'.
- This self righteous attitude comes form a dream that clouds her focus to anything else, that is, becoming a Dream Engineer.
I'm currently working on concept arts for the pitch/bible, but soon enough I'll begin making some animatic to showcase the concept. I'll share more stuff if there's interest. I'm looking forward to hearing your thought.
