My name is Jordan Zakarin and I am a reporter based in New York City. I've been on staff at The Hollywood Reporter, Yahoo, and The Huffington Post, and now I'm working at a tech-focused startup called Inverse.com. I've written about the animation industry and labor before (read my story on Sausage Party from this summer here), and now I'm writing about the industry's use of H1-B visas.
I'm hoping to speak with people working in the industry on H1-B visas right now, or have done so before. I'd like to know how the process works, how difficult it is to get one, and how changes from the Trump administration may impact people.
