I'm Andy. I'm new to the site and forums. I just finished animating my first short and was looking for some feedback. Any comments? Concerns? Querries? Conundrums? Questions? Constructive criticism? Derogatory remarks?
No problem, I look forward to what you have in store in future. :)
Some background sound may have been nice, just to reflect the different enviroments and locations in the short. Also at 1:06, the addition of sound when Andyana lands on the ground could've added some impact to to his over-the-top character. 3:05-3:30 too, I felt could've benefitted with the sound of running footsteps as he's escaping the museum. I was also going to say the addition of the actual Indiana Jones theme tune would've been better, however, on reconsideration - I think a hummed version actually works in favour to this short's charm and humour.
Lastly, don't take what I'm saying as slander against your work - I still think you did a pretty great job and I think you've got a lot of potential. I also noticed a picture of Rick & Morty in the museum, which made me smile, as your drawing style reminded me of that show. Keep the good stuff coming! :D
Very good Andy! Well animated and humourous.
Mild quibble though - I think the animation could've benefitted with some additional sound effects and music.
But overall, great stuff that you should be pleased with. Keep up the good work. :D
Thank you.
What parts do you think could've used more sound effects? I did put a few in, but I might've missed some places or just not thought of them.
