I THINK your video has been weirdly processed by YouTube (I've had similar encounters) as if it were shot on 12s or something. I find that choosing H.264 format and a rez of 320 x 240 (closer to what youtube's end rez) processes better. If you are exporting from the latest premiere it has a YouTube specific preset. Go under FILE>Export>Adobe Media Encoder and choose H.264 under format and YouTube under the preset.
Otherwise, It's a funny idea; the slacker hero idea has always intrigued me. It'd be neat to see if the animation is as funny as the idea. Liked the firing up of the bud using his heat vision.
