Hope all is well with everyone. Had a questions...working on a presentation package for potential investors for our company. The information that we're having trouble tracking down is this: how much money does an animated series make? what are the typical payment arrangements for a delivered series? Is payment per episode or per a specific # of episodes. Does anyone...please PLEASE...have any information on this or know a good source to get this information from?

:confused: Nobody? Geeze...this is tough information to find out. Don't need exact numbers for any specific project, just some estimates. You know...like how much are they getting paid for Dora The Explorer? Family Guy? Spongebob? Just a rough idea of how much the producing company gets paid for these shows. That's the information that the investors are going to want, and we're just having a really tough time finding it...no one seems to want to talk about it. Again, don't need specifics, just a rough idea. please? Thanks in advance.:o
a lot of that is internal information and you wont get stats like that by just asking.
make a list of production expenses.
just do some simple research, ask around and then estimate how many members to a team doing an episdoe. How long did it take.
rough figures for other production expenses. that will give you a ballpark figure.
