Sheridan College vs VFS

I have been heavily looking into both these schools in Canada, Capilano and Vanarts have also crossed my path but VFS and Sheridan are what I have researched more extensively. I am looking at 3D Animation/Computer Animation and have been playing with software since highschool and throughout University. I am finishing up a Bachelors of Fine Arts (New Media) degree next year and want to further enhance my 3d skills. I have already gotten into VFS since I could apply early but I cant for Sheridan until next April.

I would appreciate it if current/former students and professionals in the field could give insight on programs at both schools and their overall experience in the program and faculty.

The impression i get is that VFS likes to sell their image alot, I am not sure what precentage of information they tell me is true as it always feels over the top. Sheridan College in Ontario however won't give me specifics at all and its very difficult to get straight information from. I had to get a hold of a prof to get some decent info.

From the general impression ppl say VFS will accept anyone and Sheridan is very picky and hard to get into. Talking to VFS they say they reject 50% of applicants and accept a total of 180 each year. Sheridan gets 158 applications and accepts 45. AS far as i can tell every studio visits more than one location to recruit graduates, sheridan wont tell me what studios specifically but VFS will spill out names non-stop.

My most major concern is the quality of education. what each location teaches. I know getting a job is dependant on my demo reel but i also want to go to a school that offers the best resources and teachers.

If anyone can give me insight into each school, i would appreciate it.
