Animation Co-op Project Pitch Night 2006 Coming Soon!
Thought we forgot, didn't ya? :-) Well stay tuned, because the 3rd Annual Animation Co-op Project Pitch Night is coming soon! Despite the fact that we crammed over 70 folks into the house last time, we had to turn away half as many as that, so we're currently in the process of lining up a roomier venue (one which can easily hold 100 people). Date and location to be announced soon. In the meantime, get those pitches ready! As always, it promises to be a great time. :-)

Anim Co-op FAQ, Projects and Resources Databases Have Been Updated
Take a loot at newly-added items #14 & #15 on the Co-op website FAQ, and check out the Projects and Resources databases for new entries. Note: appearances to the contrary, the "People" section of the "Resources" database is not just for voice artists and composers. It's simply that they've been the most proactive in listing their services. :-) We expect to see all of you modelers, animators and texture painters who requested the creation of a "Resources" section to list yourselves in this FREE database. You asked for it... you got it... so use it! :-)

Co-op Animators Continue To Make Festival Rounds
Derek Flood's "Emelia" recently won the Audience Choice Award for Best Animation at the Sedona International Film Festival (http://www.sharktacos.com/Emelia/).
Mike Blum's "The Zit" continues to burn up the festival circuit, with six screenings in March alone - including ANIMAC and SXSW (http://www.thezitmovie.com/screenings).
Moon Seun's "Henry's Garden" marks four years of international touring with a screening this April at The Homer International Children's Film Festival (http://www.simplisticpictures.com/films/garden/garden_screenings.htm).
