The Animation Co-op proudly presents its Annual Project Pitch Session! :-)
Saturday, April 2nd at 8:00 pm
2340 Overland Avenue, Los Angeles, 90064
Join your fellow artists and filmmakers for an evening of project pitches for works in development and works in progress. Come to voice your opinion, to see where your talents might fit in, to show your support or simply to be inspired!
Seating is limited on a first-come first-served basis. Please register your attendance to RSVP@animationcoop.org with your complete name and email address. This is The Animation Co-op's most popular event, so don't miss out! :-)
Full slate to be announced shortly, with pitches still being accepted. To qualify your pitch for inclusion, email The Animation Co-op at: PITCHIT@animationcoop.org. Please include your full name, telephone number, pitch summary, website (if available) and AV requirements (we can support VHS, DVD and boards).
Look forward to seeing you there!

We'd like to extend our thanks to everyone who made The Animation Co-op's 2005 Project Pitch Session a great success! With 10 pitches, two screenings of finished films, and over 70 people in attendance, we're just now piecing the house back together. :-) Our appreciation to those who donated at the door to help defray the cost of the event and to support ongoing Co-op happenings. The Animation Co-op cannot exist for long without your help. On that front, thanks again to Kevin Rodgers and Sarah Worden for their assistance during the evening, as well as to James Davis for his inspirational take on the Co-op's mission.
If you were one of the 30 or so folks for whom we had no room this year, we apologize and you'll be happy to note that we will be looking into a larger venue for next year's Project Pitch Session. Tentatively in the works for our next meeting is a panel on independent animation production featuring creators who have gone from vis dev to distribution with completed projects, accompanied by screenings of their work. Stay tuned to The Animation Co-op website and to this mailing list for more details as they become available... and be sure to RSVP quickly! :-)
'Til next time...
