Wow, yet another "wish me luck" thread.
Keep 'em coming.

GoodLuck!! :D

Hehehehe... I believe I actuall AGREE with Harvey's sarcasm on this one. I too am pretty annoyed with the "wish me luck" threads (especially when they come from someone we have never, or hardly ever heard from before)... Just do what it is you want to do, and show us if you want to when it is done.

Heya good luck and have tons of fun. :)

I'm counting on it.

well good luck and have fun and let us know how it turns out :D

Wade: I never know about your posts, they always come across to me as arrogant and uptight! never a friendly comment! Just one to either complain about someones comments or start your own complaining comment!

Dude, I'm just asking for you to wish me luck. if you these threads annoy you then don't reply. it isn't like i'm forcing you too.

If there was anything intelligent being talked about, I would be happy to give my input... However, this forum of late has turned into "wish me luck", or "what school should I go to?" or "Someone please help with my questionnaire". It is just getting a bit irritating seeing these same threads over and over again. There used to be a lot of intelligent threads in here, and they are gone now... You may have missed the threads in which I have given constructive input (some helpful). I am not one to yap about dribble, and post a comment "good luck...", but rather, I speak my mind.

Oh well... Sorry you feel that I am arrogant.

Saider, not only did I throw a penny in a well for you, but I rubbed a leprechaun's nose and consulted my Ouija Board. Do yourself a favor and stay away from black cats!!!

According to his profile, Saider is only 18, so his exuberance over deciding to do an animation can probably be forgiven.

I remember once when I was a kid: I'd decided I was going to draw something, so I ran down the street hollering, "I'm going to draw a kitty! Wish me luck!" (We didn't have an internet back then.)

Why don't you post your progress (images, links) in this thread, Saider, so we can all share in the payoff.

Yes, this I agree with, Harvey.

Saider, sorry for being so blunt. It is just that we see threads exactly like this all the time, and it does tend to get annoying after seeing the same thread 300 times. Anyways, good luck with your little film.

I (and others) would probably like to see your animated film in progress, and help you out with some constructive critisism (thus helping you to learn).

Anyways, sorry to rain on your parade.

no no no, Just an observation, i would never judge someones character from an internet comment! Like you said i havn't seen your helpful ones, which i know you would of, becasue it shows you have helpful knowledge to give! I will definatly agree that these boards of late have not come out with the threads which use to keep me pinned here, Perhaps it lost a few of the catalysts who use to make such threads but I am certainly seen a difference, Ive been on here for a couple of years now (use to have a different alias) and have found them incredibly helpful!

goodluck saider! not sure what im wishing you good luck for? for your drawings to come out well??

Well, when I want to participate in a subject that interests me, I usually have to create the thread myself. It's not that difficult. You just have to remember all the questions you have and the things that fascinate you about animation, and then start a thread on one of those topics.

Here's a thread that we haven't seen in a while and can probably use again: the What Are Your Favorite Animation Sites thread. It's extremely useful but doesn't pop up that often.
Actually all the "favorites" threads are pretty useful - favorite animation movies, TV, books - and I wouldn't mind seeing those created anew every 4 or 5 months. Maybe we can throw in some "least favorite" threads too. Those can be hilarious but don't pop up that often, maybe because people are afraid of offending other people's tastes.
