New 2d Animation Software

Hello,
I'm interested in doing traditional animation with my tablet, directly on the computer. Just curious but is there a pixel base program out there that might be good for this? I currently use flipbook, graphicsgale and mirage, ( toonboom, and flash sometimes too for vectors) and I want to get retas, the demo is pretty amazing. All of these programs are good, but my search for the most comfortable animation tools continues. All of the software I mentioned, I know how to use very well, I love them, but I still wish to know if there are other 2d animation programs out there that will allow me to do traditional animation with all the tools I'd need. If anyone might know of anymore pixel aniamtion tools, let me know. I really just want to try out everything there is to offer out there, there always might be something better : )

Plastic Animation Paper (PAP)

Hi

Have you heard about Plastic Animation Paper?? It is a software package for doing 2D animation. It will allow traditional animators to utilize the powerful and timesaving advantages of computers. Using PAP you see your animation as you create it, removing the need for line tests, cameras and scanners. After getting comfortable with drawing directly to the screen you never want to go back!

PAP is pixel base program, it's easy to use and It is for doing the actual animation but not colouring or compositing. Other kinds of programs perform those tasks better. The focus is on getting the most effective software and workflow for the animator!
