My gesture drawings

Hi everyone,

I was inspired to share some of my daily gesture drawings. This used to be one of the aspects of figure drawing and character design I struggled with the most, so I went on a journey to master it. During that journey I quickly fell in love with act of capturing the life of the human figure on paper and nowadays gesture drawing is one of my favorite activities.

Being a student I'm having a bit of trouble with gestural drawings. Do you have any advice on how to improve my own gestural drawings?

In order to improve you need to first acquire the right knowledge, and then spend time developing your skill to apply that knowledge. Just making a tons of drawings won't do the job. Knowledge comes fist.

I've actually been really considering buying one of the books, I think for dynamic life drawing? Your drawings are convincing me even more to get a copy, but I didn't know there was a website available too. Thanks and keep up the good work! :)

You're welcome :). Thanks for letting me know that my drawings inspired you to learn FORCE Drawing. Yes, the videos on the website support the book. And we also have a forum where you can interact with other students and instructors, including posting your work for feedback.

If I may ask, what career path are you pursuing as an artist?
