Atlanta, even more specifically.
Just wanted to see if anyone had info regarding the animation business in Atlanta. I currently work in New York (and have been for the past 5 years) as a storyboard artist/supervisor and have also done some design work involving development and pitches. I'm originally from Georgia and have been recently contemplating going back but need to see about the work climate down there.
I'm aware of Cartoon Network as well as some other commercial houses there but wanted to get some feedback on whether or not substantial work exists enough for me to up and move.....again.
Anyone working there now or know anything about the "industry"? Anything. Anything at all?
Thanks!
if anybody wats to make a quality animation series
pls contact me.............
Nice. Really helpful.
Haha.
Cartoon Network and Adult Swim guys are the only biggish studios there, that I know. I'm sure there are some smaller studios in the area, but I couldn't tell you. I'm not sure there are any Atlanta people here on the forums.
Job wise I think you'd be better of staying in the New York area since I'm pretty sure there are much more studios there than in Atlanta.
