Almost all the animators I know have personal projects that they are working on in their “off time”. Very few of them ever get completed. I have set up a new community to help the independant animator get things both started and finsihed. Please pass this link on to anyone you think might be interested.

Hey, I finally completed my first website. I am a character designer/layout artist/etc. I will be updating my site weekly so check it out. I've reduced the image quality so it doesn't take that long for the pages to load up. The e-mail link on the page will hopefully be working tommorrow. Thanks for taking a look...................

Art of animation = no motion capture..what do u think??

By Ramimator | Saturday, July 24, 2004 at 3:05pm

If we use mo-cap so no need to animators, just go on,bring some actors and do a real movie...right??...an animator is an artist...so where is the art of animation???...i don't agree with mo-cap..but of course u can have references from acting, expressions, moving in general (as pictures, movies,or anything) and u exaggerate and animate them with your own way...what do u think??...did PIXAR,PDI,ILM use mo-cap???

What the heck, right?

The HTML isn't anything to write home about, but the content should speak (no pun intended) for itself.

The abVox Online Voice Portfolio

This is my online voice portfolio, an on going work in progress. If you ever need, or know anyone who ever needs a passionate voice actor, please think of me...

Thanks!

I want to let you know that Portland Studios has launched a brand new website. This site will continue to be a work in progress for our company. Over the next several months we'll be continuing to update and add new content.

(The new site is somewhat heavy on content, so you may want to wait until a high-speed connection is available before you come to the site.)
