The ‘Rabbits, Ducks & No Turkeys’ marathon kicks off Thanksgiving Day with back-to-back classic shorts starring Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck with the ‘Black (& White) Friday’ marathon the next day offering a family alternative to the shopping frenzy.
Starting Saturday, October 5, the event’s first weekend includes a double feature, The Sven Squad’s special Saturday Morning Cartoons appearance for the House of Svengoolie Cartoon BOO-Nanza, and mini-marathons of Halloween-themed classic TV westerns and comedy TV series.
In collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery, the new national TV network will feature classic animated cartoon franchises, including ‘Bugs Bunny,’ ‘Daffy Duck,’ ‘Scooby Doo’ and ‘Tom & Jerry;’ coming in June 2024.
Coming next month, the mischievous Woody and his friends join ‘Saturday Morning Cartoons,’ a 3-hour block featuring classic cartoon collections, including ‘Popeye & Pals,’ ‘The Tom & Jerry Show’ and ‘Bugs Bunny & Friends.’
Bugs Bunny, Popeye, and Porky Pig among the iconic characters featured in ‘Tiny Toony’s Christmas Carol,’ airing Monday, December 5, and ‘A Very Merry Bugs Bunny Christmas,’ airing November 26.
