Montreal-based 2D animation producer Toondraw Productions launches its first animated television series, ‘YaYa & Zouk,’ set to air on Radio-Canada and Yoopa starting in September.
ToonDraw Productions has announced that its new TV series, YaYa & Zouk, will be broadcast on Radio-Canada and Yoopa starting in September.
Full of good humour and optimism, YaYa & Zouk is about two kids having fun as they move between the real and imaginary worlds, accompanied by their toys that come alive. Aimed at 3-6 year-old audience, the entire 78-episode series from Toupie and Binou creators Raymond Lebrun and Dominique Jolin was produced at the company’s Montreal studio.
In collaboration with Radio-Canada and Télé-Québec, ToonDraw Productions is also developing the animated series Genius Genie. Targeting 3-6 year-olds, the series uses humor to teach the art of dealing with the problems of everyday life.
Also in development with the participation of the Cogeco Fund is Animal Talk, a comedy for 8-10 year-olds where animals always get the last word.
