Set 2,000 years ago during the reign of Caesar, the film is an adaptation of the book The Mansions of the Gods from the classic French comic series written by René Goscinny and illustrated by Albert Uderzo. Directed by Alexandre Astier and Louis Clichy, animation for the film is by Mikros Image Animation Paris.

Budgeted at 31 million euros ($42.2 million), the film is set to release in France on November 26. There is no word yet on a U.S. release.
