AMC has hired Laurie Holden (THE SHIELD) to star in its zombie drama THE WALKING DEAD, according to THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER.
AMC has hired Laurie Holden (THE SHIELD) to star in its zombie drama THE WALKING DEAD, according to THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER. She will play a sniper who develops a relationship with a man twice her age. The series reunited Holden with director Frank Darabont, having previously worked on THE MIST together.
The cast includes Andrew Lincoln, Jeffrey DeMunn, Jon Bernthal and Steven Yeun.
Adam Fierro was also hired as a consulting producer.
