What do "Osmosis Jones," "Shrek," "Ice Age," "Final Fantasy," "Mutant Aliens" and "Chicken Run" have in common? They are all part of the World Animation Celebration (WAC) on August 7 - 12, 2001. There is still time to register for the 6 days of film screenings, the 7 Business Conferences, the 6 career sessions and the Marketplace and Expo. If your budget is tight you can network at the Egyptian Theater and Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel for FREE. The hotel bar at the Roosevelt will be buzzing all week and the foyer in front of the Egyptian Theater will be hopping with activity. You'll have a better chance of bumping into an opportunity at WAC than at home. The six-day film festival and industry market will take place at the Egyptian Theater, located at 6712 Hollywood Blvd, and the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel at 7000 Hollywood Blvd in Hollywood, CA 90028. The market doors open each day at 9:00 am and the public is invited to attend a full schedule of film screenings of the world's best animation each evening beginning at 5:45 p.m.
