Production Begins on Season Two of ‘Tip the Mouse’

m4e AG and Studio Bozzetto set to deliver 26 new episodes of the CGI-animated preschool series by the end of 2017.

MUNICH -- German media company m4e AG and its co-production partner, the Italian animation specialist Studio Bozzetto, have begun production on a new season of the CGI-animated preschool series Tip the Mouse. The show’s second season will consist of 26 episodes, taking the total series episode count to 78, and will be delivered by the end of 2017.

Tip the Mouse premiered on Rai YoYo in Italy and on Super RTL in Germany in 2014. The first 52 episodes of the series were produced by m4e, Studio Bozzetto & Co., Giunti Editore, Studio Campedelli and Rai Fiction. The series is based on the internationally renowned and popular children’s books of the same name by Italian author Andrea Dami. More than 11 million books have already been sold worldwide, the TV-series was sold to more than 50 territories and was recently launched in Latin America. m4e handles all international distribution and licensing rights.
