Uber-producer Gale Anne Hurd has devised a new 17th century pirate series titled PORT ROYAL, reports Deadline.com. Hurd will exec produce via her Valhalla Entertainment with GK-tv's Graham King. The hour-long drama will follow the machinations of pirates, politicians and merchants in the “richest and wickedest city” of the New World. GK-tv’s Craig Cegielski and GK Films' Tim Headington will also be exec producing.
