Paramount Home Ent. has greenlit the first feature length production of QUEER DUCK THE MOVIE from four-time Emmy award-winning creator and writer Mike Reiss (THE SIMPSONS, THE CRITIC). The original shorts were broadcast on the Net on Icebox.com and later aired on Showtime.

QUEER DUCK, an Internet short animated on a home computer, went on to be named 'One Of the Hundred Greatest Cartoons of All Time' by the BBC, said Reiss. Featuring the adventures of male nurse Queer Duck (Jim J. Bullock, TOO CLOSE FOR COMFORT), his companion Openly Gator (Kevin Michael Richardson, STAR WARS: CLONE WARS) and friends Oscar Wildcat (Maurice LaMarche, TEAM AMERICA: WORLD POLICE) and Bi Polar Bear (Billy West, REN & STIMPY), QUEER DUCKTHE MOVIE blows the lid off the real lives of gay cartoon characters. Special guest voices include Conan OBrien, Andy Dick, Bruce Vilanch, Tim Curry, Mark Hamill and David Duchovny as Tiny Jesus.
The exec producer team for QUEER DUCK THE MOVIE includes: Golden Globe winner Howard Gordon, an exec producer on Foxs 24; Rob LaZebnick, former co-exec producer of THE SIMPSONS; and John Collier, former co-exec producer of KING OF THE HILL. Tal Vigderson (BAADASSSSS, OJO, MR. WONG), who serves as managing director of Icebox, is producing the project alongside director and head of animation, Xeth Feinberg (MTVs CARTOON SUSHI, Comedy Centrals STRANGERS WITH CANDY).
