Open Season Goes Hunting on DVD

OPEN SEASON, the debut feature from Sony Pictures Pictures Animation, makes its way to DVD, Blu-ray Disc and PSP on Jan. 30, 2007 (Sony Pictures Home Ent., $28.95, $38.95 and $28.95, respectively).

Included on the DVD is a brand new short, BOOG AND ELLIOT'S MIDNIGHT RUN, directed by Jill Culton, who helmed OPEN SEASON with Roger Allers and co-director Anthony Stacchi. In BOOG AND ELLIOT'S MIDNIGHT RUN, which reunites Boog (Martin Lawrence), the domesticated bear, and Elliot (Ashton Kutcher), the one-antlered mule deer, as they try to steal some sweet rolls.

Inspired by the humor of Steve Moore, creator of the nationally syndicated comic strip, IN THE BLEACHERS, the Annie Award-nominated OPEN SEASON features eye-popping 3D animation inspired by the brilliant designer Eyvind Earle. It concerns the unlikely friendship between Boog and Elliot as they join with other animals to take back the forest from the hunters.
