animated in Flash. Actionace.com is hiring all levels of ANIMATORS, from
seasoned professionals to entry-level. Job requirements/skills are: 4-year
college degree (animation major preferred); Thorough understanding of
animation production, both 2D & 3D; Ability to work in both Windows and Mac
environments; Proven ability to work as part of a team, take direction and
perform detailed tasks; Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, Freehand
and other vector-based programs; and Must be willing to take a full-time,
on-site staff position. Preferred: Comic book and/or anime background;
Experience working at a web-based company; and Experience with Flash 4.0.
- California Institute of the Arts School of Film/Video is conducting
searches for four Faculty positions, three full-time & one part-time, to
begin Fall 2000: Full-time FILMMAKER to teach 16mm film production to
experimental animation students; part-time ANIMATOR to teach 2-D computer
graphics and film production techniques; Full-time DESIGNER to teach basic
perspective, illustration and rendering for undergraduate animators; And
full-time SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR Technical Faculty for 3-D computer animation
lab. Screening of candidates will begin March 1, 2000 and continue until
