The groundbreaking 3DCG animated film Nimona released on Netflix this past weekend to rave reviews. Now, the Netflix: Behind the Streams YouTube account has dropped The Art of Nimona, a featurette that breaks down the film’s messages, and how its visual language was crafted to illustrate them.
Based on the National Book Award-nominated, New York Times bestselling graphic novel by ND Stevenson, Nimona follows a knight framed for a crime he didn’t commit, and the titular shapeshifter who sets out to help him prove his innocence.
