Moonscoop Scores Sales in Latin America, Caribbean

Paris, 18 May 2009 -- Moonscoop, the worldwide brand management and entertainment company representing properties from some of the leading animation producers across the globe has scored a raft of TV sales for its hit series in Latin America and the Caribbean, in advance of the LA Screenings.

CBeebies in Latin America has acquired new series CHLOE'S CLOSET which is currently in production. Televideo has taken TV rights to CODE LYOKO, FANTASTIC FOUR and GROWING UP CREEPIE for Bolivia, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Nicaragua and Paraguay. In a further deal, CVM in Jamaica has picked up broadcast rights to FANTASTIC FOUR and CODE LYOKO.

2D HD animated CHLOE'S CLOSET follows the fun-filled adventures of an adorable, imaginative little girl named Chloe who discovers magical new worlds while playing dress-up in her closet. With each new costume Chloe tries on, she is swept up in a fantastical journey with her best friend and constant companion, her security blanket named Lovely Carrot. Chloe's exploits also encourage the audience to celebrate how delightful it is to be a little kid embarking upon a fabulously fun and fearless, anything-can-happen journey. The series is a Moonscoop co-production with KI.KA, ARD and European Films Partners B.V.

International hit CODE LYOKO, produced by Moonscoop with France 3 and Canal J, has sold all over the world. The 97 x 26' show, which uses a dynamic mix of 2D and 3D animation, targets kids six and older and currently airs on Jetix in Latin America.

CODE LYOKO blends action and adventure and a swift pace with rich graphics and issues for today's kids. Our planet Earth and the parallel universe called Lyoko face the threat of annihilation. A super virus has infected the central processing units in X.A.N.A and only four kids can foil the mad computer's evil designs! Yumi, Ulrich, Odd and Jeremy lead doubles lives: ordinary students in their early teens by day, action heroes in the virtual digital world.

Based on the classic Marvel characters, FANTASTIC FOUR is an action-comedy animation series, co-produced by Moonscoop and Marvel, with the participation of Cartoon Network Europe and M6.

The television series, which is currently airing on Cartoon Network Latin America and Televisa in Mexico, combines a dynamic mix of 2D and 3D animation. It brings to life Marvel's cult comic book heroes for 6-11 year olds as well as FANTASTIC FOUR fans of all ages. Moonscoop has distribution rights outside the US, with Marvel handling US television and DVD distribution rights and worldwide merchandising.

Aimed at an audience of six and upwards, Moonscoop-produced GROWING UP CREEPIE is an Emmy Award-winning series combining state-of-the-art Flash animation with award-winning Art Direction. The series already airs on Nickelodeon Latin America and Mexico.

Creepie Creecher is smart, sassy, and well adjusted. She also happens to have been raised by a family of bugs! But the scary part of her life is only just beginning. Now, as she hits her teenage years, her parents have enrolled her in a new school, which is completely infested... with humans! And no one is more surprised than Creepie to discover that she is one of them!
