The fall semester of classes at the American Animation Institute will

include a new class in Presentation and Concept Development taught by

Phil Mendez. Additional classes will be taught by Suzan Averitt,

Steve Brown, Diana Coco, Jim Franzen, Karl Gnass, Bud Hester, Cotty

Kilbanks, Jan Naylor, Bob Quinn, Glenn Vilppu and Roy Wilson.

Up-to-date information on collective bargaining agreements can be

Web site. In addition to the Local 839 contract,

the Web site features the IATSE's contract with The Secret Lab (TSL),

formerly DreamQuest; IATSE Local 16 and 600's contract with

Industrial Light & Magic (ILM) in San Francisco; and IATSE Local

843's contract with Walt Disney Feature Animation Florida in Orlando.

With this information, you will be able to compare and contrast

conditions at the various union shops serviced by units of the IATSE,

Local 839's parent organization.
