Il Luster Prods. has released a collection of animated shorts titled BEST ANIMATION FROM HOLLAND VOL. 1. The eleven much awarded films on the DVD are unique and remarkable products noted for their high quality, clever ingenuity and daring approach to subject matter. The graphic design reflects the centuries old and high-standing Dutch graphic arts. Films include: Borge Ring's ANNA AND BELLA, Evert de Beijer's THE CHARACTERS, Piet Kroon's DADA, Maarten Koopman's FAMOUS PAINTINGS, Gerrit Van Dijik's I MOVE, SO I AM, Christa Moesker's SIENTJE, Paul Driessen's 3 MISSES, Michael Dudok de Wit's FATHER AND DAUGHTER, Adriaan Lokman's BARCODE, Rosto's THE RISE AND FALL OF THE LEGENDARY ANGLOBILLY FEVERSON and Erik van Schaaik's VENT.
The DVD is PAL format (does play on U.S. PCs and Macs, but will not play on U.S. TV). All films are presented in their original aspect ratio (3:4 or 16:9) with the audio Dolby 2.0 (Dolby Digital 5.1 for BARCODE, ANGLOBILLY, VENT).
