The Banff World Media Festival is pleased to welcome Margaret Loesch - President and CEO of The Hub television network - as the Kids & Animation Keynote at this year's Festival in June, 2011.
Ms. Loesch oversees all business and creative areas of the popular family entertainment network, a joint venture between Discovery Communications and Hasbro, Inc. which reaches approximately 61 million U.S. cable and satellite households.
The winner of multiple Emmy Awards and numerous other industry awards, Ms. Loesch has nearly four decades of unparalleled success in all phases of children's and family entertainment.
Her extensive resume includes the development and/or production of some of the most iconic programs in children's television, including SMURFS, MIGHTY MOPPHIN' POWER RANGERS, JIM HENSON'S MUPPET BABIES, ANIMANIACS, TRANSFORMERS, and the award-winning pre-school educational series BEAR IN THE BIG BLUE HOUSE.
