Vertigo Ent.'s Roy Lee and Room 101's Steven Schneider are developing a remake of THE SWARM, reports TheWrap. The original 1978 film starred Michael Caine, who played an entomologist who attempts to thwart a swarm of killer bees from invading Houston. Commercials director Ash Bolland is set to helm. The producers are looking for a writer to adapt Arthur Herzog's novel.
