Honkworm International has signed entertainment industry veteran Carah von Funk as senior vice president, corporate development. In her new post, von Funk will oversee the development of strategic business and creative alliances. She will be based out of Honkworm's New York office. Prior to joining Honkworm, von Funk served as vice president, business development for Razorfish Studios, an award-winning multimedia solutions company. Previously, as a creative executive at the Samuel Goldwyn Company, von Funk was involved in the company's acquisition of the feature films HENRY V and LA FEMME NIKITA. "Honkworm blends elements from online and offline entertainment businesses, film production and marketing. Carah has excelled in all of these media," said Honkworm founder and CEO, Johan Liedgren. "Her understanding of the entertainment industry and the unique requirements of online business made her the perfect person to help us continue to build Honkworm."
