Hollywood Voice Cast Lines Up for South African Animated Film

South Africa-based Triggerfish Animation Studios has tapped some Hollywood talent for its latest animated feature ZAMBEZIA.

South Africa-based Triggerfish Animation Studios has tapped some Hollywood talent for its latest animated feature ZAMBEZIA. Variety reports that Abigail Breslin, Jeff Goldblum, Leonard Nimoy, Samuel L. Jackson, Richard E. Grant, Jennifer Lewis and Jeremy Suarez have joined the voice cast.

Set in a bird sanctuary at the edge of the Zambezi waterfalls, the story follows a young falcon who joins the Hurricane defense flyers.

Wayne Thornley is the directing from a script by Andrew Cook, Anthony Silverston and Raffaella Delle Donne. Wonderful Works' Greg Becker and Claire Becker, and Cinema Management Group's Mace Neufeld and Edward Noeltner are the exec producers.

Cinema Management Group is handling the international rights and sold the film in more than 25 markets.
