Guru Studio’s ‘Big Blue’ Launches on the Roku Channel

The 2D comedy series, which follows sibling underwater adventurers Lettie and Lemo who lead a quirky submarine crew, is now streaming in the U.S. on the Roku Channel in the ‘Kids & Family’ section.

Animation powerhouse Guru Studio has announced that the 2D comedy adventure series Big Blue is now streaming in the U.S. on the Roku Channel in the ‘Kids & Family’ section.

“We’re thrilled to be launching Big Blue today on Roku to millions of homes in the US who will undoubtedly fall in love with the show’s big laughs and loveable, quirky crew,” said Frank Falcone, president and executive creative director at Guru Studio.

Created by Ghanaian-Canadian artist Gyimah Gariba and produced by Guru Studio, Big Blue follows sibling underwater adventurers Lettie and Lemo who lead a quirky submarine crew with a magical ocean fairy stowaway named Bacon Berry. Together, they just might unravel the mysterious secrets of their underwater universe!

The U.S. launch comes on the heels of the series’ successful debut in Latin America last month on Warner Bros. Discovery’s Cartoon Network and Max. The hit series, originally commissioned by CBC Kids in Canada, has since onboarded a strong list of broadcast partners including Nickelodeon/Nicktoons in the UK, ABC Kids in Australia, Cartoon Network in Africa, EBS in South Korea, RTS in Switzerland, RTVE Clan in Spain, and MBC in the Middle East.
