Gnomon Workshop: Live! Set for Dec. 2-3

The fourth Gnomon Workshop: Live! will take place Dec. 2-3, 2006, 10:00 am -7:00 pm, Sound Stage 15, next door to the Gnomon School of Visual Effects, 1015 N. Cahuenga Blvd., Hollywood 90038.

The cost is $125. Purchase tickets online and bring a printed copy of your order confirmation and valid driver's license to the event. Please do not select shipping options, as they will not be issuing a printed ticket. Gnomon recommends reserving early.

Featured artists will present subjects that include character and concept design, storyboarding, comicbook penciling, modeling, game production pipeline and texturing. The schedule will include such artists as Craig Mullins, Iain McCaig, Dan Milligan, Steven Stahlberg, Dave Finch, Ron Lemen, David Krentz, Ian Joyner, Lopsie Schwartz and Fausto De Martini. These artists have influenced the landscape of concept design, visual effects and game design, with work featured in films such as Frank Miller's 300, STAR WARS EPISODES 1-3, FINAL FANTASY - THE SPIRITS WITHIN, DINOSAUR and ERAGON, and in games such as MYST 3 EXILE, X-MEN LEGENDS 2, BROTHERS IN ARMS and WORLD OF WARCRAFT, and comic books such as ULTIMATE X-MEN, MOON KNIGHT and THE NEW AVENGERS.
