MADRID, SPAIN – BRB International attended Brand Licensing Europe this week in London having renewed the agreement for Geronimo Stilton with Atlantyca Entertainment for the licensing in the Iberian Peninsula.
Geronimo Stilton, the animated series has just aired on TVE’s Clan, while continuing to air on Super 3, the children’s channel of Televisió de Catalunya, as well as on Canal Panda. It is the first time that this show has been broadcast simultaneously on three different TV channels in Spain.
Since September 13th, Clan has been broadcasting the two first seasons of the animated series on a daily basis. In addition, TVE’s channel for children has purchased the rights for its third season, The New Adventures of Geronimo Stilton, which is currently in production. Super3 and Canal Panda are now airing the second season of the adventures featuring the famous journalist-mouse.
Geronimo’s merchandising in the Iberian market has been further promoted with Carrefour’s recent launch, in Spain, of the clothing line designed by Ditexmed. The publishing house Planeta has recently presented its new diary in Spain and Portugal, coinciding with the back to school season. It has been released in three different languages, Spanish, Catalonian and Portuguese.
