Sci fi series FRINGE and DOLLHOUSE, and animated comedies SIT DOWN, SHUT UP and THE CLEVELAND SHOW will make up the sparse new offerings from Fox this fall.
J.J. Abrams' FRINGE will air in the plum spot after drama HOUSE on Tuesday nights at 9 p.m.
Joss Wheden's DOLLHOUSE won't premiere until midseason to allow continued development, more fallout from the writers strike. Animated entries SIT DOWN, SHUT UP and FAMILY GUY spinoff THE CLEVELAND SHOW will also debut at midseason.
Fox has tentatively scheduled DOLLHOUSE on Mondays at 8 p.m., before 24 finally returns in the 9 p.m. slot.
The Sunday night comedy schedule in the spring will be THE SIMPSONS at 8 p.m., SIT DOWN, SHUT UP at 8:30 p.m., followed by FAMILY GUY at 9 p.m. and THE CLEVELAND SHOW at 9:30 p.m.
Kevin Reilly, President, Entertainment, Fox said, "We're going to make plenty of noise and yet potentially have more stability and success than we've had historically in the fourth quarter. We'll be focused in the fall with two new series -- one comedy and one drama -- and then use our big assets in January to launch an even more powerful second season."
