DIC Ent.'s longtime president of worldwide consumer products Nancy Fowler has departed the L.A.-based company to work full-time with The Licensing Shop, reports KIDSCREEN. She'll join founder (and husband) Steve Fowler at the startup brand management outfit, where she'll help to build the client base and increase the company's presence in the Canadian licensing industry. The firm is also looking for employees to fill creative and administrative roles.
The Licensing Shop represents Pokemon and various properties from Al Ovadia & Associates in the Canadian market. Two additional high-profile clients are expected to be added in the coming weeks. Fowler said that she will not be representing any DIC properties nor will it be joining The Licensing Shop's client roster any time soon. For more information, visit www.thelicensingshop.com.
