'Florrie’s Dragons' Make their Way to KI.KA

Studio 100 Media GmbH, have signed a license deal with children’s channel KI.KA.

Cannes – Studio 100 Media GmbH, a subsidiary of Belgium’s leading family entertainment group Studio 100, has signed a license deal with children’s channel KI.KA. The German broadcaster has acquired the pre-school series Florrie’s Dragons (52 x 10 mins).

The agreement gives KI.KA all exclusive German television rights for the animated series over a five and half year period.  Targeted at three to six year olds Florrie’s Dragons is produced by Wish Films UK, Clockwork Zoo Pty and Studio 100 Animation.

Written by children‘s author An Vrombaut, creator of the award winning series ‘64 Zoo Lane’ and based on the book ‘Dear Dragon’ published by Hodder Children’s Books, Florrie’s Dragons is a vibrant show full of enchantment, friendship, creativity and positive values.

Commenting on the agreement, Patrick Elmendorff, Managing Director of Studio 100 Media said, “We are thrilled to offer Florrie’s Dragons to KI.KA one of the most prestigious children’s channels in Germany.  Florrie and her ‘bubble blowing’ dragons are sure to win the hearts of many children.”
