“The gang is back together. And literally it's like we never went away,” Josh Gad, the voice of Olaf the snowman, said to USA Today. “Every day we're reminded of Frozen in our lives. So it feels like a continuation of a saga that has many parts still untold. It felt like coming home again after a short absence.”
Frozen won two Academy Awards for best animated film and best original song, and a Golden Globe award for best animated feature film. It is the fifth highest grossing film of all time and the highest grossing animated film earning more than $1.27 billion globally.
