Filmax Ent. is moving forward on two new [REC] films, reports VARIETY.
Filmax Ent. is moving forward on two new [REC] films, reports VARIETY. Paco Plaza and Jaume Balaguero, who helmed the first two films in the horror series, will develop the new films with Plaza directing [REC] GENESIS and Balaguero taking [REC] APOCALYPSE.
[REC] GENESIS will be written by Plaza and [REC] scribe Luis Berdejo. The story will delve into the beginnings of zombie virus.
The GENESIS is set to hit theaters fall 2011. APOCALYPSE will follow a year later.
