Featuring Tummy Tom, the mischievous ginger tom cat, the all-new animated series based on the bestselling children’s books by Joet Boeke is slated for a Summer 2024 release; show heads to MIP Junior running October 13-15.
Incredible Film has shared exclusive first-look images and a trailer for its new 2D animated film series Tummy Tom and The Lost Teddy Bear (4x60’) based on the bestselling children’s books by Jet Boeke. Produced by Phanta Animation and BosBros, the series follows a funny, inquisitive, adventurous, and slightly mischievous ginger tomcat who, along with his animal friends, explores the world around him - just like a preschooler would.
The character, Tummy Tom, first appeared on Sesame Street in 1978. In 1983, Dutch publisher Gottmer began publishing Boeke’s stories - millions of “Tummy Tom” books have since sold worldwide. In 2018, Tummy Tom celebrated his 40th birthday.
The property’s first film, Tummy Tom’s Teddybear, is currently in production. The series is slated for release in Summer 2024.
Tummy Tom and The Lost Teddy Bear is on Incredible Film’s slate for MIP Junior.
