DreamWorks has picked up the rights to the YA book series WICKED, reports VARIETY. Aaron and Matthew Benay (1906) are attached to write the screenplay. The Gotham Group is producing.
The series, penned by Nancy Holder and Debbie Viguie, follows a young woman who discovers that her ancestors were part of a coven of witches. Unfortunately, she falls for a member of a rival coven.
