‘My Adventures with Green Lantern,’ ‘DC Super Powers,’ and ‘Starfire’ will introduce young viewers to the budding new DCU.
Warner Bros. Discovery’s DC Studios and Warner Bros. Animation have announced three upcoming kids and family animated series in development, which will tie into the budding new DCU from James Gunn and Peter Safran, according to Kidscreen. Sam Register serves as executive producer on all three projects.
In My Adventures with Green Lantern, high school student Jessica Cruz’s life changes when a Green Lantern Power Ring chooses her as its champion in an ancient space war. Jake Wyatt executive produces alongside Stephanie Gonzaga.
DC Super Powers is set at Alliance School for Heroes, and focuses on new students Lightning, Flash, Plastic Man, Aquagirl, Green Lantern, and Terra as they learn under the tutelage of Principal Martian Manhunter. Matt Beans executive produces, with Michael Chang acting as supervising producer.
Starfire tells the journey of the beloved alien heroine as she travels from her home planet Tamaran into the endless adventure of space. Joining her on her spaceship are Crush, Fern, and the magical Princess Amethyst of Gemworld. Josie Campbell executive produces alongside Brianne Drouhard.
