Digital Artists Agency (DAA) has signed agreements to represent Academy Award-winning visual effects supervisors Volker Engel (INDEPENDENCE DAY) and Tim McGovern (TOTAL RECALL). In addition, the company has also signed visual effects supervisor Patrick Shearn, an Emmy Award nominee for 3RD ROCK FROM THE SUN, and Eric Mises-Rosenfeld, a French national with 15 years of award-winning TV commercial and feature film experience. "I'm gratified to add these four bright stars of the visual effects industry to our growing company of talent that includes digital compositors, animators and producers," said DAA president Bob Coleman. DAA will represent the four artists globally. Engels visual effects supervisor credits include MOON 44, UNIVERSAL SOLDIER and GODZILLA. McGoverns credits include animator on TRON and F/X supervisor for THE GHOST IN THE DARKNESS, STIGMATA, MONEY TRAIN, VIRTUOSITY and THE LAST ACTION HERO. Shearns credits include motion control T-Rex supervisor on "Back to the Future: The Ride," animatronics supervisor and puppeteer on JURASSIC PARK and visual effects supervisor on FIGHT CLUB and ANTITRUST. Mises-Rosenfeld has supervised commercials for Sega, Miller and Pepsi. His film and TV credits include television series ROBOCOP, the features MONEY TALKS and MORTAL KOMBAT: ANNIHILATION and telefilms FIRST TIME FELON and GEPPETTO.
