Crunchyroll has announced the anime series Blue Lock Season 2 will premiere on October 5 at 9:00 a.m. PT / 12:00 p.m. ET, exclusively on the platform. The series will be available in Japanese with subtitles. New episodes will roll out weekly.
The streamer also revealed a Season One recap for those who need a refresher, or for those just getting started with the series.
Blue Lock follows 300 high school players as they compete to become Japan’s next football striker. In the upcoming season, 35 players remain, but now the Blue Lock program itself faces elimination from Japan’s very own U-20 National Team. Vicious rivals will have to team up to defeat the national youth team if any of them want a shot at the striker position. Can they put aside their egos long enough to win together, or will they lose divided?
