Toronto, Ontario – Cookie Jar Entertainment announced a licensing partnership with Fuhu, the creators of the nabi tablet, a seven-inch Android tablet platform designed specifically for kids.
The deal calls for Cookie Jar to provide content to the platform from its library, including Inspector Gadget and Busytown Mysteries. Cookie Jar will be the exclusive content provider for the tablet’s Fooz Kids app.
“The nabi 2 is already breaking records as being the fastest and most powerful seven-inch tablet available for kids today, and the partnership we have with Cookie Jar showcases the incredibly high level of standards we have in providing children with only the best and most engaging content,” said Jim Mitchell, CEO of Fuhu Inc. “We know kids love Cookie Jar and with the nabi 2, they can bring their favorite Saturday morning cartoons with them anytime, anywhere.”
“Fuhu's nabi 2 is an unbelievable new platform for children, and the kid in all of us,” said Toper Taylor, President & COO of Cookie Jar Entertainment. “We are thrilled to be a significant content supplier at the launch of their new tablet.”
The seven-inch tablet includes kid-friendly TV shows, movies and academic lessons in English, science and math as well as 500 apps including a music store and games.
The nabi 2 tablet will be released in July and retail for $199.99.
